SUMMARY:3 Peaks Challenge
DESCRIPTION:As mentioned in previous newsletters\, a group are walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for the PTA and OPAL play initiative.  If you wish to sponsor them\, please click this link. \nThe Swanland School Walking Mums and Dads are recruiting new members for next year’s challenge.  After the huge success of last year’s National 3 Peaks – raising over £3\,000 – they are coming together again to raise vital funds for the school.\nThis time\, it’s back to the Yorkshire 3 Peaks\, but with a twist.  They will attempt it twice\, non-stop: *6 Peaks\, 48 miles\, 2\,762 meters of elevation\, all within 24 hours.*\nThe adventure kicks off on the weekend of 9-11th May 2025 – are you up for the double loop or just one round of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks (a fantastic challenge on its own!)\, if so\, then why not join in and help make a difference for our school community.\nIf you would like to be part of this challenge\, please email Magda at magdallena.dudek@gmail.com to be added into the what’s app group and to get the challenge started.
