SUMMARY:PTA Competition - Pumpkin Decorating & Guess the Weight
DESCRIPTION:Reception\, Year 1\, Year 2\, Year 3\, Year 4\, Year 5\, Year 6 \nWe have one volunteer for this event so it can go ahead. We would really appreciate other helpers to support this person though. Please do get in touch if you are able to help. \nChildren will be able to bring their decorated or carved pumpkin and put it on the grass as you enter the school grounds from Tranby Lane. Families entering a pumpkin can drop them at school between Monday 20th and and Thursday 23rd October 8.30 am – 8.45 am. It will be £1.00 to enter on the day the pumpkin is dropped off. The pumpkins will be judged on Thursday 23rd October and can be taken home on Friday 24th October. Halloween Hamper prizes will be given in assembly on Friday. \nIn addition\, before school and during the school day\, children will be able to ‘Guess the Weight of the pumpkin’. This is £1.00 a try and a Halloween Hamper is the prize. If you don’t get chance to do this before school\, and your child wishes to enter\, please send £1.00 on Thursday 23rd October (you can get a peek of the giant pumpkin at the main entrance to school). \nIf you are able to help at this event on any day that week\, Monday to Thursday 8.30 am – 8.45 am\, to receive the entry fees and allocate a number\, please get in touch via ptaswanlandschool@gmail.com.
