SUMMARY:Rock Your Socks (in support of World Down Sydrome Day)
DESCRIPTION:Reception\, Year 1\, Year 2\, Year 3\, Year 4\, Year 5\, Year 6 \nChange of date from Friday 20th March to Thursday 19th March. \nThis year to support World Down Syndrome Day\, we are inviting all pupils to take part in “Rock Your Socks” on Friday 20th March. \nRocking your socks is a fun and child-friendly way to start conversations about difference\, inclusion and celebrating what makes each of us unique. By wearing bright\, colourful\, and mismatched socks\, pupils and staff can show their support in a simple\, visible and meaningful way. \nChildren are welcome to come to school wearing mismatched socks on the day – the more colourful and mismatched\, the better! Families may choose to purchase official socks (click here)\, but any fun socks are absolutely fine. \nWe would also be grateful for any voluntary cash donations\, which will go directly to Downright Special\, a charity that provides invaluable support to children with Down Syndrome and to our school community. \nThank you for helping us celebrate this important day.
