SUMMARY:OPAL Parent Event (Non-Uniform Day )
DESCRIPTION:Reception\, Year 1\, Year 2\, Year 3\, Year 4\, Year 5\, Year 6 \nWe are delighted to invite parents and carers to our upcoming OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) event on Friday 1 May 2026\, starting at 1.30pm. \n1.30 pm – OPAL Parent Working Party Meeting \nWe will begin with a short meeting for parents and carers who are interested in being involved in our OPAL working party. This will be an opportunity to share ideas and suggestions and to help shape the next steps in further improving our lunchtime play offer. \n2.15 pm – Stay and Play \nFollowing this\, parents and carers are warmly invited to join our Stay and Play session. During this extended playtime\, you will be able to see the wide range of play opportunities available at our school and enjoy playing alongside your child. \nAt this event we will also have a table of waterproofs and wellies that children can take or make a small donation towards if they need them. \nIf you would like to attend one or both of these sessions\, please sign up using the link below: \nOPAL Parent Meeting and Stay and Play  1st May – Fill in form \nNon‑Uniform Day and Donations \nThe day will also be a non‑uniform day. Children are invited to bring either £1.00 or an item from the list below (perhaps something you have spare or unused). We are currently developing our garden area and water play provision\, so any contributions to support this are very much appreciated. \nItems to bring in exchange for non-uniform: \n\n✨£1.00 suggested donation OR\n🌱 Seeds\, bulbs or outdoor plants\n🧤 Gardening equipment (hand forks\, trowels\, etc.)\n🎨 Chalk\n🏖️ Sandpit toys\n💦 Water play toys (jugs\, cups\, funnels\, pipes)\n🚜 Toy vehicles (cars\, trucks\, tractors and similar)\n👶 Larger dolls (please not Barbie‑sized\, as we already have plenty)\n👗 Barbie clothes (we have lots of Barbies who need outfits!)\n📎 Pegs (including larger pegs for towels on sunbeds)\n\nWe currently have plenty of mud kitchen equipment and teddies so are not accepting any more at this time. \nThank you\, as always\, for your generosity and continued support.
