DESCRIPTION:Reception\, Year 1\, Year 2\, Year 3\, Year 4\, Year 5\, Year 6 \nWe are delighted to be celebrating Walk to School Week\, beginning Monday 18th May. During this week\, we would like to encourage children to walk\, scoot or cycle to school as much as possible. \nEach class will be keeping a daily tally of how many children travel actively to school. For every day a child walks\, scoots\, or cycles\, they will be rewarded by being able to choose which shoes they wear to school (within reason!). \nTo add to the fun\, we will also be holding a poster competition\, a poetry competition\, and a ‘Spot the Dirty Feet’ challenge around school. \nWe understand that active travel to school is not possible for everyone. If families do need to drive\, we would appreciate your support in parking a little further away. For example\, if parking on Tranby Lane\, please park beyond Stratton Park and walk down Tranby Lane to school. \nThank you for helping us promote healthy\, active habits for our children.

Let imaginations run wild! Finished stones should be brought into school by Thursday 21st May. \nWe will then be placing the stones around the village to share our love of reading with the local community and spread some book‑themed joy far and wide. \nWe can’t wait to see the fantastic designs and celebrate our enjoyment of reading together!
