Harvest Festival Service at the Church by the Pond

Harvest Festival – Wednesday 9^th October 2024

On Wednesday 9^th October 2024, the children will be visiting Christ Church in Swanland, for a Harvest Festival celebration.  Christ Church are collecting food for Hull Foodbank (Trussell Trust) again this year.  Hull Foodbank only works with non-perishable food items (not fresh produce – only tinned and dried goods), which do not spoil or decay:

Tinned Fruit / Tinned Vegetables / Soup / Rice Pudding / Tinned Meat / Pasta / Beans

The following would also be gratefully received:

Breakfast Cereals, Rice, Tea/Coffee, Sugar, Biscuits, Snacks

If the children would like to donate, they can bring their donations in on the morning of the Harvest Festival Wednesday 9^th October only.  They will be kept in their classrooms and the children will carry them to the church themselves on the day.  Please note, there is no obligation to donate, you do not need to bring a contribution to go to the Church.
