Year Six

Welcome to Year Six!

The Year 6 teachers are Miss Green (6KG) and Mrs Cooper (6RC). Miss Spizer teaches ICT in 6KG. On a Friday, Mrs Martin teaches French and music and Mrs Anderson teaches art.

PE and Games lessons

These are usually on a Monday and a Thursday. Please ensure your child has the appropriate kit, clearly labelled in school.

Homework

Please listen to your child read as often as possible each week, help them to practise and learn their tables and spellings and encourage them to practise their Maths online using MyMaths. The Year 6 expectation is to read aloud at home at least 5 times every week. In your child’s homework diary, please sign your initials next to the pages your child has read aloud and discussed with you each day.

Please be aware that additional homework could be given out on a Friday and the children are rewarded for handing their completed work in on a Monday morning.
