Outdoor Classroom Day (non-uniform)

Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6

On Thursday 6th November, we will be celebrating Outdoor Classroom Day. On this day, all the children will be doing the majority of their learning outside. They will come to school in non-uniform, wearing clothes that they don’t mind getting wet or muddy. We would also like every child to bring a pair of wellies or boots that they can change into when doing the activities in muddier areas and if possible waterproof trousers and jackets. If children do not have a change of shoes for the muddy activities they may not be able to fully join in as they will need clean shoes to wear indoors for lunch etc.

At the end of the day, we are inviting any parents who wish to join us to come for a OPAL Parent Play session. This will be at 2.25 pm until 3.05 pm and will be an opportunity for parents to see what their children have done that day, as well as join in with a typical lunchtime play session.
