World Book Day

Reception, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6
On Thursday 6th March it is World Book Day and to celebrate this, we are going to be holding a whole school shared reading session. All children will join other children in mixed age groups, to share their favourite picture book. We are asking every child in school to bring their favourite picture book or short story to school on 6th March, something that is suitable for any age in school. If you don’t have a picture book that is suitable you could access the public library or the school library. Please ensure the book is labelled with your child’s name as it may get mixed up with other children’s books and that way we can make sure it gets back to you.
In addition to this, the World Book Day vouchers will be distributed after half term, these can be used in a range of stores to purchase the special World Book Day books or as a discount on a range of books. Find out more here.
